'Summer Time' Mid Challenge Reminder

Welcome back to Crafty Boots Challenges, where it is time for our 'Summer Time' mid challenge reminder.

The winners of this Challenge will be given the opportunity to be featured in a future challenge as a Guest Designers Jane, Cicci and Marlene recently won our 'Monochrome' Challenge, they are three very skilled crafters and, I am sure you will agree, that their work is worthy of visit to their blogs to see more.

   Hi I am Jane from 'Jane's Journal'. I have been a make and do girl since I could hold a pencil. As well as a avid paper crafter I am also a silversmith, jewellery maker and cake decorator.  Recently, I have had fun exploring mixed media.  I also love gardening.  

I recently retired from the NHS after 34 years as a physiotherapist. Now I  have more time to craft and see more of my darling granddaughter.

This is the second time I have the honor to be a guest at Crafty Boots, I Really enjoy it :0).  I'm a happy guitar playing Crafter that loves to colour!!  I live in Sweden with my family.  

I have always loved to colour and drawing but I took a long break when the kids were little.  Then I found the wonderful Copic Markers about 2 years ago and I started colouring again after 15 years!!!!  So much fun and good for the soul I think :0).  I am a DT Member at TTCRD (The Magazine for the Crafty One) - owner Cara Malmrose.  I'm also a DT Member at Scrappers Delights/ Image by Janice and I love being a DT member at Lovely Ladies

Hi, I'm Marlene from 'Cards Made by Marlene'.  I started making cards in January 2011.   I found cardmaking to be very relaxing and since then I have become addicted, if that is the right word, to making them.

'Summer Time' Challenge

According to my calendar it is summer, however, I am not totally convinced.  We have so much rain recently there are rumours that the man next door is building and ark.  OK, yes there has been the occasional nice day but the past few evenings I have been tempted to put the heating on.  Hopefully beach weather is just around the corner and we can all start planning our holiday's.

We have a new challenge starting today and it is just what we need to remind us of things to come.  For the next two weeks we want to see your 'Summer Time' projects.  As always with our challenges, you can use any materials you like, to make anything you like, for example, a card, a box top, a gift bag, a scrapbook page, an ATC, an inchie, etc.

Our Design Team have come up with a few ideas to give you an idea of the sort of thing we had in mind.

'Masculine Cards' Mid Challenge Reminder

Welcome back to Crafty Boots Challenges, we are already half way through our 'Masculine Cards' Challenge.

Hi...my name is Jana, 42 year old and I live with my family in a small country – Slovenia. I am married to a graphic designer and we have three beautiful children: son Andraz (16), daughter Katarina (13) and son Matija (9). We love nature...mountains, sea, forest and animals. And I love gardening. My favorite things are to create exploding boxes, gift boxes, books cards, accordion cards... I love making cards with lots of layers and embellishments. On the cards is specialty the pocket with flower seeds. I started blogging in January 2014.

My blogspot Janinustvarjalnivrt.blogspot.com (Janin ustvarjalni vrt – Jane's Creative Garden) is my virtual happy place to share some paper projects. This is my hobby and I love playing with paper, dies, inks, stamps...

'Masculine Cards' Challenge

It is time for a new challenge here at Crafty Boots Challenges.  In many parts of the world it is Father's Day later this month.  However, it is not Father's Day everywhere and we know that our followers are from all around the globe, so instead of calling this challenge Father's Day Cards, we have called it 'Masculine Cards'.

This way we can also include male family birthday cards, anniversary cards for our husbands, get well cards for a poorly little boy etc.  Just as long as they are for a man or boy and it is a card.
