Things with Wings

Hello and welcome back to another challenge at Crafty Boots Challenges.

The weather this week is due to be wet and cold in the UK, but things could be much worse, and we have another great theme for this challenge to lift your spirits - 'Things with Wings'.  For the next two weeks we would like to see any of your projects with wings, these could be fairies, butterflies, planes, insects, angels, in fact, anything your imagination can come up with.

Our wonderful design team have had their thinking hats on and these are some of their ideas.

Red White or Blue Mid Challenge Reminder

It is time for the mid challenge reminder at Crafty Boots Challenges, where the theme of the current challenge is 'Red, White or Blue'.  Your projects can contain just one of the colours, all three colours or any combination of the three.  Just use red, white or blue somewhere in your project, it is as simple as that.

Our Guest Designers today are Anna and Lisa, who were recent winners, did just that.  They chose to use all three colours in their beautiful designs. Their work is amazing and you should check out their blogs.

Anna

My name is Anna and my internet nick is Srebrnolistka (which means “Silver Leaf”). I’m from Poland, where I live with my husband, two sons and two cats. Scrapbooking and card making are my passion and my family shares this with me. Scrapbooking really connects people and generations. I love vintage and shabby chic, mixed media and many layers and embellishments in my cards and layouts. I love trying new styles and techniques. I’m happy and honoured to be a Guest Designer here at Crafty Boots Challenges.

Lisa

My Photo  I have been crafting since 1991.  I started out learning 3d decoupage and made mainly pictures. There was no diecutting in those days so I used to cut out each layer with a craft knife, one picture took me 22 hours!  I played around a bit with Rubber stamping and colouring but found that the lack of tools available back then hindered a good result.  A few years ago I discovered die cuts and chalk.  Then I met a lovely lady who introduced me to Promarkers and the wonderful world of Digi Stamps and encouraged me to have another go at colouring.   I have never looked back.  I love colouring both digi and rubber stamps and experimenting with colours.

Our fabulous Design Team has been busy too:

This challenge will remain open until noon on Sunday, 26 April. Please click here to go directly to the challenge.

Andrea

I'm Andrea.  I've not been making cards or blogging for very long.   I got married in April 2013 and made all our wedding stationery because I thought the printed "stuff" was so expensive.   Exploring the crafting world whilst designing the invitations I found a fantastic amount of crafting materials and started experimenting.   Encouraged by the girls at work I started making cards properly and blogging in August 2014.  I use various colouring mediums and am always expending this whilst experimenting and trying new ideas/techniques.

The Crafty Boots Challenges Design Team have also been busy creating more Easter treats to inspire you:
